9 months ago, I met someone special in my life. He has been my sunshine since then, and he never fails to put a smile on my face.
I’m so blessed to have met him in my life and will continue to cherish this precious human being.
The airport have always been like my safe comfort zone, so at times I would make a trip down to the airport for a breather and to enjoy the ambience there. Days that I would spend the evening with my pops at Jewel to enjoy the lights, and here you go - my very first date at Jewel with him was magical.
We spent our very first birthday celebrations together! Simple dinners, talks over our meals and just embracing each other’s company. I can’t ask for anything else more but times like this. ❤️ And of course, I can't miss out on those surprise cake arrangements for him!
His very first reservist and yay to more celebrations! We went back to our favourite restaurant to celebrate this achievement of his. Am glad that he enjoyed it and honestly, I am so proud of this man here for all that he have went through. School, work, reservist - so many phases and yet he pulled it through. There are a few more to come and I know it gets tiring, but my arms and shoulders will always be here for you to lean on. Big hugs! ❤️
We took days off, hopped on the airplane and had our very first trip together. Shoe shopping, eating and sight seeing, nothing beats the comfort of having him beside me and taking care of me throughout the trip. He have a nice broad shoulder that I can lean on, and on days when I needed it he would give me his warm hugs 🤗 Looking forward to many more trips together, perhaps our Korea/Japan trip when the situation gets better! Pewwwww~ (airplane sound)
Yes, this is us daily. No doubt we have our ups and downs, but we always end up like this. But that just proves one thing, I want to go through all the ups and downs with him because yup, he is that precious :) We have more goofy moments but I like this candid shot of us hehe.
We celebrated our very first Christmas together! On Christmas Eve, we went for Christmas Wonderland (is that what you call it???). But anyway, it is the first time I celebrated Christmas with someone who would hold my hands and walk through those crowd. Beautiful Christmas lights, trees and wooden huts selling festive foods. The crowd was sure intimidating but I had him opening the pathway for me ahead with my hands in his. My heart is warm and it is indeed a magical Christmas for me ❤️
Chinese New Year has always been significant to me, gatherings with loved ones, a time of reunion and celebration. Albeit there were some family matters occurring during this festive season, he came to accompany me and celebrated Chinese New Year along with me and my family. The emptiness and lost feeling I felt diminished when he appeared. He brought a smile on my face, and I’m just so glad that he’s always there to support me. And I promise I will always be there for him too.
When my family is just so amazed by all these hotel slippers to wear around the corridor of my aunt’s house, and he joins along our gang and goofed around. Maybe, this is what makes him so likeable by my family heee. And not forgetting how he would get me the food and all just to ensure that I am eating enough. Too much adorby-ness (just to highlight this point!)
Our first New Year Eve spent together ❤️It felt like days when we had our first unofficial date, when we walked along the streets of Orchard Road back and forth sharing our thoughts and minds. That day, we walked under the blanket of stars and moon, awaiting for the beautiful bouquets of fireworks to appear from afar. We saw the fireworks, but not just that, I also saw the back view of this special human being that just makes the New Year Eve even more special. Thank you for appearing in my life, thank you for being my sunshine and my beebee bunny.
9 months, and those are 9 moments that I wanted to share with this man reading this. Thank you for always bringing me smiles, surprising me with my favourite bread or stuffed toys that I would briefly mention that I like/love. Even when you’re tired, you would fetch me after work for dinner. I still remember the day that you went abroad and we promised to wear our hoodies together to symbolise how we are together with each other even miles apart. Hehe.
I can’t be more thankful for you, and I’m looking forward to many more celebrations with you, future days of bushing your cheeks and us pew pew-ingggg. Beebee, I will be here for you always okie, to take care of you and be with you through all the rainy and sunny days 🌧 ☀️
